I'd have to agree. In any case, given that I'm based in Singapore, my trading costs are far too high to employ ur strategy. I've preferred to go long and stay long. I've at least made money on the US$ appreciation (or hedged some against the S$ depreciation... whichever way you look at it).
Frankly, I just see no real news to push the stock towards another breakout before Sep/Dec98 quarter results. Maybe the SIngapore parliament will announce share buyback next week... But that's about the only thing I can think of.
Goldman Sachs is just one positive opinion amidst a sea of confusion and to top this off, those who really follow this stock knew about it a week ago. CSFB has been another house that promoted this stock... but couldn't do much. ML raised their recommendation... CLSA continues to rate it their top pick in Singapore.

So who's left to call BUY ?
Let's just all be a little patient and let the company produce the results... Then the real rally will begin.

Just my 2cts worth.
