TLindt: Well, I'm with you on CKFR.

Personally I can't agree about Excite. I am considering shorting them or YHOO. I just don't see the evidence that anybody reads web ads, or buys anything based on web advertising. Sooner or later these web engines that depend on advertising revenue are going to fall down.

E Trade may be another matter -- but I fear that these web brokerages are already in price war that will squeeze or eliminate any possibility of profit. Like corner gas stations used to sell gasoline below cost. Now there are a lot fewer gas stations.

As for Intuit, I love their products but they've never made any money have they? Haven't looked at their financials lately but they were pretty sorry a year ago when I did. They certainly have a devoted customer base and I should think that eventually they would figure out how to make money from that.

What CKFR has that none of these others do is a profitable product.

Good luck on all your invesmtents. Especially CKFR.
