Never dawned on me that this was old news with folks who committed atrocity already punished. The NYT ran a 2 1/2 year old story as front page "news." It's "top of the fold, two column left." See it here. nytimes.com There only "hook" is that they had a two year old confidential report of allegations about it that was leaked to them. We don't know how long they have had it, but I would bet it was for a while. Their motive for running it now is obvious.
