I use higher volume, at least 750. For short term breakout I like volume > 5000.

In this thread the stocks are picked for short term breakout. I agree that in a violate market the breakout are often short lived.

TC2000 has Worden indicators. However, the classical indicators (such as MACD) often give different signals than Worden indicators. I tested the Worden signals and found the signals very good for longer term.

Many TAers prefer MetaStock than TC2000. We cannot run MetaStock scans on TC2000, but TC2000 is very good. For example, on May 25 a TC2000 model picked BAANF (see post #95).

TC2000 does not have breakout scans.
