It is interesting to read all of the leftwingers complaining about the risk of a recession (the more extremist ones talk up depression). There is a risk of a recession. There always is, but the risk is greater now than it has been since Clinton's recession.

What is interesting though is thinking about how that affects the 2008 Presidential election. As the risk of recession increases the huge costs of Obamanomics (or Hillanomics) become that much greater of a risk. Thus as they talk up the risk they increase the likelihood of McCain being elected.
