For crying out loud don't do anything to attract folks! I like being in a fly over area that has ugly winters. I always make sure to point out that August is the only month that we've not had a killing frost, we've gone over 2 months without a high temp above 0 and we can have snow on the ground for 6 months of the year. That is usually sufficient:)
