Regarding the CREE debacle,simply shoddy journalism by CNBC and Kiernan. They were flat out wrong, both after the close YESTERDAY as well as on Squawk Box this morning. Blaming the wire service is the last refuge of an ink-stained scoundrel. They should have reporters on those conference calls every day. Covering conference calls would be the equivalent of your local daily paper covering city council meetings. Bridge News's fault, indeed. Furthermore they never issued an honest, straightforward CORRECTION. Just did some shucking and jiving. Weak, very weak. ( I was in news for 20 years, then decided to go straight and be a trader :) Bought more CREE calls this morning :)
