Actually I believe Novell would be a more juicy nugget to Yahoo at a measly $8.5 bil market cap (what they got GeoCities and Broadcast.com for together!!, hence min. of $12 bil+), but now pumping out ZEN's (zero effort networking, digitalme.com ) application solutions, security and scalability to the internet on top of their NDS (directory services) that allows seemless management of not just corportate network objects, but now ISP's and other portals, along with their super HOT caching software.. But then again, I hope Eric stays independent for at least 1 year or until NOVL trades above $35-40, then rumors can ensue.
Ok, back to FORE. And those rumors! I expect a telecom related acquisition IMHO. In Oct.98 @ 9 3/8's and back again during the March head fake at 12 7/8's for more pain. GO! |
