This is an invitation and reminder to shareholders to participate in or listen to
the Investor Forum on Monday, September 18, 2000 at 14:30 hours Mountian time.
Don Sandford, President and CEO of NetShepherd Inc. will moderate a discussion
featuring: John Trewhitt, Vice Chairman of Net Shepherd Inc. from London, Bill
Fogg, CEO of Answers.com in Pasadena, California, and David Herman CEO of Ktopia,
located just outside of New York City.

Consistent with the strategic direction and policies outlined at the Annual
General Meeting on July 13, 2000, John Trewhitt will update shareholders on
progress towards NSI emerging as a technology management firm with a strong focus
on business acceleration of its present and planned investments. John will also
address the issues and challenges of dividending out to shareholders a portion of
the benefits from upcoming liquidity events.

This is the first time that the CEO's of our US based investments will be
addressing the shareholders directly about the growth of their businesses. Bill
Fogg will provide insights into the rapidly growing customer base of Answers.com,
the implications on revenue growth and the changes occuring in Answers' space due
to mergers and acquistions and the participation of Answers.com in these
opportunities. Dave Herman will provide insights into the growth of ktopia anad
strategic alliances that are being formed by the company. Don Sandford will
update investors on the establishment of a business accelerator that has been
established at the NSI offices in Calgary.
