QCOM is collecting itself at 50day MA who the hell said earnings would be stellar anyway? they were guided down.. later an analyst said Q would meet estimates just like October, the intangibles will drive the stock also future info on products and releases and contracts will drive it here is a pattern to put on your plate: alternating reactions to earnings reports April99 was huge, euphoric, tickle me sideways (positive) July99 was good, but total mangle of 2ndary & S&P entry (negative) Oct99 was ok, and split news was instant amphetamine HDR demo to NYCity analysts following week was methamphetamine chaser (positive to the third degree) Jan2k was not good, and total mangle of forward guidance (negative) alternates positive and negative next is positive on April 18th we report same day as IBM, AOL, and Intel awfully quiet from QCOM headqtrs I will be very surprised if some hard news does not emerge news should begin as a dribble next week I still maintain that NOK is in a corner / JW
