If you go to the compaq online store through the link Brad provided, they are selling the fingerprint scanner. The technical specs state that it will work with computers other than Compaq. I am working with a Compaq deskpro at work and a Cybermax K6 233 at home. I almost bought the scanner yesterday to have a new tinker toy, figured I could make it work on my office machine if not at home. Now if I could only get myself to drop the $99.99 I could be a proud owner.
