and while federal funding might not be a necessity for US research it certainly helps. So a bill could be passed that limits research to existing stem cell lines and discarded embryos? A caveat could be built into the legislation about farming and cloning not being included. Hell there could even be penalties for those who do incorporated into the same bill. Mike
