4:34PM Macrovision tops estimates; updates guidance (MVSN) 16.23 +0.26: Reports Q1 (Mar) earnings of $0.17 per share, $0.02 better than the Reuters Research consensus of $0.15; revenues rose 18.6% year/year to $28.1 mln vs the $24.4 mln consensus; says revenues for Q2 are estimated to be in the $26-$28 million range, with pro forma EPS of $0.15-$0.16. Reuters Research consensus estimates are $0.17 per share and $25.4 mln respectively.
