Dear Jane, I enjoyed reading your post. So much to consider and to deal with concerning the true and the false and the confused Christians among us. I believe, we must depend on God's amazing grace and keep our eyes upon the glorified Jesus. The Word says we already have a position in the Heavenlies. Its ours and its waiting for us once we shed this restriction of the flesh and walk thru the open door. Jesus nailed our sins to the cross and there they remain for what we have done and for what we will ever do on this mortal coil. God said, even though we, as Christians deny Him, he will never deny us because of he lives within us and he cannot deny himself. Thank God!

Jane, we must divide God's Word because we are not of a faith connected with Judiasm! We are a new body of divine truth. We are all one that believe in Christ, be we Jew, Greek, American or whatever.

Our Gospel presents faith in Christ as the only requirement for salvation. (Romans 4:5), (Galatians 3:26), (Ephesians 2:8,9)
All of this truth came from the Lord Jesus Christ, Himself. (Ephesians 1:3)
This is according to the Mystery of Christ revealed to our apostle Paul, who has fairly warned us to follow his Gospel. Paul follows God so we must follow Paul who God gave us as a teacher in this present dispensation.

Talk more later.
God keep you in grace,
Santiago
