Alas, fresh clam on the half shell can be hazardous, though it may shock, those slick muscles are nature's septic plants and can harbor many diseases. Still, most cannot resist clam eaten raw. It has made chowder heads of even the best. Speaking of the chowder heads, the impractical Joker has created a new Boink! thread for the not so anonymous maroons and chowder heads. We should salute him for helping raise the level of discussion here. (Crusty crustacean no, not that kind of salute! I didn't mean for you to turn around and drop trou....)
