Hi, Geoffrey - I think MikeM, Denver Techie, almost anyone - is more qualified to give you an answer than me.

I think the constraints are bandwidth and traffic control, when 1000 viewers request 1000 different movies from the "jukebox". But I defer to more knowledgeable posters.

The cost you quote may be accurate in some sense - as a metric of pure content delivery. I wonder if it includes the cost of the content?
