A simple case I know about that did not reach that level.

A new teenage student in the local school system was very much into paint ball
including refereeing adult paint ball for pay after school or on weekends------his job.

He was a new student in the local high school----- and had to ride the school bus to school.

As he was getting off of the school bus one afternoon, he ask another teen if he had to go home for his gun.

The school bus driver immediately reported him-----for using the word 'gun'.

The next day, the mother was called and told she needed to come to the school immediately.
She had just started a new job-------in a panic she left work and went the school.

Her son was in the principal's office with the prinicple considering calling the police.

As it unfolded, the principal stated they did not allow guns in school and any mention of guns
was followed up on. He suspended the young student for 2 or 3 days.

Yes, this was in a public school in Virginia. That was about 5 years ago------the mother was a close
friend of mind-----no link needed on this. And the teenager is now in an engineering school -------and who knows could end up being the next Google , Apple or Microsoft developer.
