Think about the word "defended" for a moment. Was it 'defended' because it is strong and just unloved and misunderstood? Or was it 'defended' because if it was not 'defended' it could collapse with a giant sucking sound that would be considered globally catastrophic by central bankers around the world? By 'defending' the dollar do you think we should take that as a signal that the dollar is now on an upward trend?

If you want to hide something that is sitting in your hand it can be easily accomplished by throwing it up in the air -- unfortunately, due to the laws of GRAVITY, it shows up again very soon thereafter. Unless Ben and his chums have a way to repeal the laws of GRAVITY then it will take a lot more than 'defending' the dollar to reverse its fall.>>
