Exigent Announces Promotions, Appointments ---looks like something big is coming up, can anyone spell Teledesic??? - Dave

MELBOURNE, Fla., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Bernie Smedley, CEO of Exigent International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: XGNT - news; CHX: XNT - news) today announced a number of executive promotions, appointments, and reassignments within the organization of subsidiary Software Technology, Inc. (STI). Management believes that the demands of business growth and the needs of the customer base, coupled with a sharpened focus on new product development makes these changes necessary.

In the Melbourne, Florida office:

. * Bob Stultz, formerly manager of STI's OS/COMET software product,
becomes Vice-President of the Products Division. Bob will head up the ongoing
development of the newest versions of the OS/COMET line.

. * Dan Flynn, becomes Vice-President of Commercial Programs with key
responsibilities in the development of the Integrated Control Center. He will
continue to work on other commercial projects and related business pursuits.

. * Dr. Vince Kovarik, formerly Chief Software Engineer, becomes
Vice-President and Senior Member of the Technical Staff, reporting to Chief
Technology Officer (CTO) Bill Presley.

. * John Ellis becomes Vice-President and Senior Member of the Technical
Staff with particular responsibility in the area of Software Process.

* Dave Nowacki, formerly Melbourne Site Manager, becomes Vice President STI Government Division.

In the Alexandria, Virginia office:

. * Dean Oswald continues as Vice-President, and moves to the office of the
CTO as Deputy.

. * Darin King, formerly Group Manager for Ground Systems, is promoted to
Vice-President STI Government Division.

. * Mark Adams formerly Group Manager of C3 (Command, Control, and
Communication) and Space Systems, becomes Vice-President STI Government
Division.

All of these changes will take effect immediately.
