Dear Barry :

There is something that is of God concerning your job situation; we have been praying about it for a long time. My friend, I know it has to be driving you crazy. I feel for you. I can feel the upheaval it is giving you in the pit of your stomach.

I am not even going down the road that would lead us to question God about this. Let us just ask God for a peace, and joy and comfort in the midst of the storm or furnace, whatever you wish to call it. Somehow I just feel this is going to linger with us for awhile.

I could say I'm sorry but I will not. What I will pray for is that in this situation God will be sovereign; but we already know this, so this gets us back to square one. I could say that God will and surely must accomplish that which he has started out to do in Christ, through you but we know this too, or at least do not doubt that He will.

So my friend, what is there left ? I must simply pray that your enemies be silenced so that you may have some peace. I know some of the things they are telling you; I am sick of it after 5 minutes and you have been hearing this tormentingly so for months.

Lord, in Jesus name silence the mouths of our enemies. Silence the mouths of Barry's enemies. Barry, do not believe the lies that the enemy has been telling you. They are not true.

I know you have been thinking that the Lord can provide for me in the repair of a vehicle but where is He in the bigger areas of my life; He has left me alone, stranded.

This is a lie . You are not stranded. You are not alone. You will prosper. Your enemies will shut up in Jesus name. No doubt it is hard to hear God at times and to know His voice but I am firmly convinced that the enemy throws up a smoke and sound screen around us at times. This is the reason we cannot see or hear. It is not that God has stopped talking to us.

Lord remove all barriers so that Barry can hear and see You. In Christ name I pray. Amen.
