Afgan, was the source of terrorist which took down the US towers. Stay until we eliminate those b-stards terrorists.

Are you sure of that? I thought that the terrorists were Saudi Arabians, Egyptians, UAE and lebanese. Granted, many Al Qaeda elite were hiding in Afghanistan, but they were obviously hiding in Pakistan too.

The one thing that we should have learned in all of this is that our true enemy isn't bound by national borders. Muslim extremists don't think of national boundaries the same way a westerner does. Al Qaeda is everywhere in the middle east and much of Africa. And even among those who are not formally members of al qaeda, there is much sympathy for them throughout the mideast.

If we really want to get the bastard terrorists, we would have to expand mideast/african military activities.

with the above information, it shows that there really isn't any more reason to be in Afghanistan militarily than there is to be in Somalia, Yemen or Syria.
