bargainman - for some reason the market has never taken CMGi seriously (just listen to Joe Kernan, et al every day). I believe that is changing now. With the Alta Vista deal we should see an increase in the number of analysts covering CMGi. The trend is to finally acknowledge CMGi as a major, influential player and power broker. Most recent articles are extremely positive about CMGi's business plan and future growth. Even my Dad's traditional broker gives CMGi a 40% annual growth rate (so far mine is at 70%). For a long time CMGi has not benefited from the respect it deserves. For example, while browsing the AOL board yesterday I noticed a site that was posted there. It is called "Standard Price Forecast." They apparently analyze trends and post estimates of future Internet stock prices. Take a look for yourself at it-investor.com. Well, guess what? CMGi is not listed as a company they follow, at least not yet. Perhaps they don't consider CMGi to be a pure Internet play; give me a break! Good luck to CMGi longs in the coming weeks. Jim
