The reason for the discrepancy probably lies in the new accounting standard for calculating EPS. I'm not aware of any downward revisions in estimates, so I don't buy the "stale" reason given. I wish I had time to figure it out though because it is quite disturbing that these people compiling the estimates can't get it right. I don't know which one is wrong. Even Briefing.com is inconsistent - in the earnings calendar they have the Zacks $0.59 which they say is diluted, but in the short story section (which I posted), they quote First Call of $0.53.
