Just back and not fully up to speed on AOL's further deterioration.

I have been told that a widely respected analyst from XXXX Research has stated that "AOL is a house of cards, waiting to collapse". (I need to find the quote before I name names).

BTW anyone see what mainstream AOLers (i.e., non-investors) think. So much for AOL style brand loyalty!
news.com

Highlights:

1) @80% of AOLers say AOL, in effect, sux.
2) @60% of AOLers say AOL content is not worth the price of staying with AOL.

There were AOL friendly comments but were they overwhelmed by the vast majority of AOL derisives, many "unprintable".

Somewhere I read that an esteemed university marketing professor is teaching his course using AOL management as a classic case study for poor marketing management. Where are the finance professors?

Aside from torrent of lawsuits aimed at AOL for fraud and breach of contract I would not be surprised if the SEC launches an investigation of AOL practices.
