Thompson would be an interesting candidate, if nothing else. I like him.

He, like Reagan, comes over very well. He got sick of setting in the Senate. When I look at the potential candidates, he stands up well. The producer of "Law and Order" is a flaming liberal. He just got nailed by DeLay for the script last week that slandered him.

"RUSH: Have you heard about this show last night, Law & Order, Criminal Intent? Have you heard about what they did? This is just unconscionable. Hollywood has jumped into the DC political swirl. They ran an episode last night suggesting a judge killer would wear a Tom DeLay T-shirt. They actually used DeLay's name. DeLay plans a letter of protest later this afternoon. Wednesday night's episode centered on the murder of a judge, a character in the drama said, "Maybe we should put out an APB for somebody in a Tom DeLay T-shirt." It was the season finale last night. "
