BTW...What did you think about this statement in the short essay:

I'm responding to that only because you specifically asked.

Communism doesn't end with economic and political reform. By definition, it further demands the abolition of both Religion and the Absolute Morality founded upon Religion.

I don't know if it's true that communism demands the abolition of religion. It was the case in Soviet communism and that was because the ruling authority felt threatened by countervailing religious authority but I think that communism can be compatible with religion. There were aspects of communism in some Israeli social structures and they seemed compatible with Judaism. I'm really not up on such practices, but it seems to me that it's possible at least in theory. Communism, which is IMO a fatally flawed economic system, would not necessarily have to be accompanied by such a mean-spirited social system. It could be operated benevolently, at least in theory.

The irony is that Communism supposedly attempts to enhance civility within society, but removes all notions of Absolute Morality, the very cornerstone of civility.

As for absolute morality being the cornerstone of civility, I can only shake my head. I find that risible. Civility doesn't require any morality at all, absolute or otherwise. Civility can operate solely on self interest if need be.
