Cause the chart looks pretty that way.
Cause the dream is easier to sell that way.
Cause it works.
Cause they can.
Cause the broker pimps need it to be believed to sell their stock into.
Cause of info you won't find in the Broker Upgrades: Average earnings over the last 5 year cycle 1998 thru 2002 were 55 cents for AMAT, 70 cents for KLAC. And that did not include option expense or writeoffs.
Cause no one care. Just follow the momo.
