Yes Spence is more interesting and cooler heads prevail. Barry Shaft just tried to do a job and use the media machine to advance acceptance of his little corner of the world. Barry Shaft did handle himself well and tried to make a complex (for some people at least) subject easy to manage. A tragic day for America when they let that scum go free. I have learned (the hard way) that on a local level you are going to pay the price, regardless of the truth of the matter. As my friend who is a lawyer for the county says, "its all about money and getting someone to pay, the truth is an afterthought". It was my hope in that trial, that under the national spotlight, that truth would have no where to hide. Great lawyers can hide a lot of truth. HAGO TH
