What's the result of delivering large amounts of data to a device that uses flash as its primary non volatile storage mechanism?

The same thing that happened when CDROMs allowed delivery of large amounts of data to a device that uses disks as its primary NV storage -- the PC. CDROMs directly drove several generations of disk drive demand growth.

Similarly, I expect OROM, if it really happens, to drive demand for flash-type NV storage in the various devices that use it as such. "dumbmoney" posted a good list of those.
