re: mixing time frames... learnt my lesson from RIM. Short at $112 for a swing trade (one of the rare occasions i was able to pick accurately a swing top), but set trailing stops as if I was doing day trading. Consequence: I was stopped out in the same day, while RIM continue to downswing to $83 !!!!!! Very difficult to stay committed to swing trade when watching intra day chart. Dunno what the presciption is yet...
