I saw a female American soccer expert say the two fouls called on Canada where wrong. She said the first one was legal, but no one ever does it i.e. goalie holding the ball too long and the second was just wrong ie.. hitting it with her elbow.

The ball hit her elbow, her elbow did not hit the ball.

So I am rooting for the Japanese.
