Thanks pholedphan, The patent you are referencing was reported widely a couple of years ago. example Laser Focus World 09/25/2014 By John Wallace Senior Editor Researchers at the University of Michigan (UM; Ann Arbor, MI) have extended the lifetime of blue organic Blue phosphorescent OLED lifetime increased by 10X, reaching more than 600 hours ------- I will be curious see whether we learn anything more about this newer development: "In particular, I will discuss the use of hot excited state managers as a means to greatly extend the lifetime of blues for both displays and lighting."
