eFax.com Inks Exclusive Deal With Phone.com

eFax.com and Phone.com Partner to Deliver Wireless
Fax-to-Email Service To Internet Enabled Phones

MENLO PARK, Calif., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- eFax.com(TM) (Nasdaq:
EFAX), the world's leading Internet provider of fax-to-email services, today
announced an exclusive strategic partnership with Phone.com, Inc. (Nasdaq:
PHCM), a leading provider of Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) software that
enables the delivery of Internet-based services to mass-market wireless phones.

The eFax(R) offering will be integrated into Phone.com's MyPhone service
offering. The MyPhone service is a mobile portal platform with user customizable
Internet content enabling network operators to offer their own branded portal
sites to wireless subscribers.

As part of the agreement, eFax.com will provide Phone.com with a customized
fax solution for Internet enabled wireless phones, including fax notification and
forwarding. Using Phone.com's MyPhone portal service, users can sign-up for
their eFax number and access fax services directly from their wireless phones.

"This alliance between eFax.com and Phone.com enables the convergence of the
Internet, standard fax machines and mobile telephony giving telecom carriers
added subscriber value," said Greg Heumann, director of marketing. "Our
software provides wireless subscribers with Internet-based services, including
email, news, stocks, weather, travel and sports. Now with eFax, subscribers can
be notified of a fax and have it forwarded to wherever they are."

"Phone.com is leading the way into an entirely new Internet application area we
expect to significantly expand Internet access and usage," said Ron Brown, vice
president of marketing at eFax.com. "This is clearly a huge market space and a
great fit for eFax.com to address, and this partnership gives us broad reach and
visibility."
