Elmer may be a complete idiot and thread moron as far as his fud is concerned, but he makes excellent points on the benefits of writing puts.

I did agree with you that writing puts is a bullish strategy.

The extent to how bullish is a function of the price.

Somebody writing Jan 120 puts would be being exceedingly bullish with the current price of $91.

If somebody writes Jan 80 puts, they are being "somewhat" bullish and very conservative in my book.
