Bob,
Scottrade does fairly well. You can do them on line but I call the broker and they e mail their trading desk and then execute. It can be fairly quick. They give me the internet rate even though I use a broker because I have a history of churning my own account. It is not 7 bucks on the canadians though and as at other brokers the fee depends on the price of the stock.

Overall I would say they are okay.
