Utterances from officers or Directors of the corporation attach much greater liability. Officers and Directors of some firms have even been known to intentionally mislead their "front people" so that they can relay the lie glibly. > Jackie, even if a receptionist, speaks for the company and thus creates liability for the company if what she says is a lie. <
