But I'm asking you to hypothesize what there could be between the two. The idea is to accept the challenge and assume there is a synergy. Then you investigate to demonstrate what you have cooked up. Maybe you'll find it is absurd to assert there is any possible connection. Maybe you'll discover that with a little imagination and moxie on both management's parts a great combo could be achieved. If that is the case, you could position yourself to make a killing. Obviously both are in play now and they both independently look like their stocks will double in six months, so maybe the timing isn't right for such a move for many months. It never hurts though to be ahead of the game. Besides, in this investigation you might develop the conviction to buy either and so realize the potential terrific gain.
