Carolyn, If Muslims become intrusive and aggressive, yes indeed there will be ugly.
I thought those on this site did not believe in violence. But, both religious believe in God. And, how can you argue with God when their god has called them to their religious faith. I think back to the late Jerry Farwell, and Pat Robinson, both Christian leaders who IMO, had the opinion that Christians are to go to Iraq, Afgan, and the Far East and convert them to Christianity. My question is that any different than the Islam, or Jewish faith coming to the US and trying to convert Christians to Islam, Judaism, etc. As a Christian, I believe in the Christian faith.
As long as the government stays out of religion and abides by our constitution and statutes the different faiths have the same right as I do to serve my savior. However, if another faith tries through force tries to infringe on me, and my faith then I have the right to defend myself and my religion with lethal means and through the courts. That is why I am against vouchers for private school where various religions can indoctrinate youth in various religions with radical beliefs, and against my belief of individual rights including pro-choice for women. |
