SDL Inc (SDLI) 162 3/8 +1 7/8: Reports Q1 earnings of $0.22 a share, $0.06 above the First Call consensus of $0.16, vs year-ago earnings of $0.08. Hey hey, that's great!! Last quarter they beat estimates by 23%. This quarter by 26! We'll make it on some "upside surprises" lists, that's for sure. I'm all ready for the conference call at 2:00. Put my skis away early. Linds's snowboard lost a couple screws and she had to slide down with one binding held on by one screw. Not a lot of fun. Especially considering there's a snowboard competition on and these Kama-kazi boarders kept screaming past us at bullet speeds, no doubt warming up for their events. They're awesome to watch but you don't want to get in their path. Kind of like SDL. :)) More later --- Pat
