ACT Manufacturing, Inc. Announces Departure of Matthew Landa

HUDSON, Mass., March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- ACT Manufacturing,
Inc. (Nasdaq: ACTM - news) announced today that President
Matthew Landa is leaving the Company to pursue other business
opportunities.

Mr. Landa assumed the role of President in July 1999, when
ACT Manufacturing completed its merger with CMC Industries,
Inc., where Mr. Landa was President and Chief Executive
Officer.

Mr. John A. Pino, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
ACT, said, ``The Company wishes Mr. Landa success in his
future endeavors and appreciates his efforts as part of the
team that completed the successful integration of ACT
Manufacturing and CMC Industries.'

Mr. Pino will resume the role of President of ACT
Manufacturing, Inc.

ACT Manufacturing, Inc., headquartered in Hudson,
Massachusetts, provides value-added electronic manufacturing
services for original equipment manufacturers in the
networking and telecommunications, computer, industrial and
medical equipment markets. The Company provides OEMs with
