Fewer abortions now than there were before Roe:



Back in the 60's when abortion was illegal, there were still nearly one million abortions being performed every year. In 1967, the only year they actually attempted to quantify the number of abortions, they determined there were 860,000 abortions performed. We are now down to a little over 600,000 per year. Now granted, that has a lot to do with the availability of birth control now-a-days, but still.

If Roe v. Wade is overturned, does any practical person really think babies will, just like that, cease to be aborted? Women that don't want a child will find a way. Back then there was always someone that someone knew, or that someone who knew someone who knew someone, who was able to get some girl out of trouble.




The positive story is that the prolife movement is winning hearts and minds.
