I don't think Chong was expecting nine months when he plead guilty. In state court around here, you get probation for the first conviction and ten days for the second.

I think he should have plead not guilty and fought it. You can smoke other things besides dope in bongs. Tobacco. Kinnikinick (Indian tobacco). Herbs. Opium. ;^)
