A straight shooter he isn't
The man bent like a question mark is now a straight arrow!
First, Pakistan created, cultivated and made taliban prosper in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Second, it had freely associated with and aided the al qaeda. It is difficult to believe that pakistan and some middle east countries didn't know what taliban and alqaeda were up to in New York and Washington. The pakis knew right from the beginning that taliban and al qaeda were involved in anti-American activities - Cole, Kobar etc - and they were certain that America would come to them for help with regards to taliban and al qaeda. The pakis had Americans over the barrel in terms of terrorism from taliban and al qaeda and knew that American would come to them for help. Now they are fleecing the Americans. Much worse was the loss of American lives. The outcaste has become a darling with a dinner invitation to the White House. Think of the five-hour visit to Pakistan by President Clinton and the dinner invitation now under Bush watch. The man bent like a question mark is now a straight arrow! It Can't be.The paki who can't shoot straight gets a dinner invitation for putting the Americans over the barrel.
On top of this, the British-born baby-face sheik, a college dropout, is allegedly responsible for the kidnapping of Pearl. Why did not Pakistan keep him in custody after his release from Indian jail via Afghanistan? Some officials in ISI are in sympathy with the kidnappers' cause.
