Unfair comparison.

Pantano was proud of what he did, told the world what he did, and dared the marines to tell the world that killing on a battlefield was the wrong thing for a soldier to be doing.

Felt was ashamed of what he did, denied to the world that he did it, and was terrified that the FBI would find out and tell the world that what he did was wrong.
