Indicate Another Major Gold Discovery in Chile

LAKE ELSINORE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 28, 1999--Two diamond drill holes have
recently been completed on the Company's Las Dos Marias property located approximately 3
kilometers north of the recently discovered Alto de Lipangue gold/copper deposit in Region IV Chile,
North of Santiago.
Assay results returned high-grade intercepts of up to 46.58 grams per tonne from near-surface
drilling.

DDH DM99-01 - drilled vertically to 122 meters between two IP
survey lines, with no target reference other than surface
reconnaissance.
DDH DM99-02 - drilled vertically to a depth of 269 meters to test
an IP anomaly. From a depth of 37 meters to 80 meters, highly
silicified and pyritized andesite intersected.

The Company plans to step up exploration at Las Dos Marias to further test this new high-grade
discovery.
Medinah Energy, Inc. explores for gold in Chile. Its primary assets are the Alto de Lipangue
property and now the Las Dos Marias property, both located between Santiago and the Chilean
