Don't pat him on the back, pat him down
The General is projecting an image of cooperation with the Americans in finding and rescuing Pearl. This fellow doesn't deserve a dinner, much less an invitation to this country and the White House. Then why not we invite all the Osamas of the world as dinner guests. Why are we coddling this oligarch who associated with Taliban and Al Qaeda until recently, who were the cause of all this tragedy. Is this a diplomatic charade until we get the maximum benefit out of him? How could the pakis let this guy (Shekh), who has a history of kidnapping, to roam around pakistan freely and associate with the Army of Muhammad (Jaish-e-Muhammad). The Indian Govt. wants this Sheikh sent back to India to face charges. All this shows that the pakis can't be trusted. He is coming to get his ransom and we better make sure that he doesn't steal the White House cutlery with the White House insignia on them. Walk him through a metal detector before and after the meal. (Instead of patting him on the back, let us pat him down and let the dog sniff his shoes for contraband)! It is possible that the White House may use paki-made cutlery. That will give a message to this oligarch.
