I do use Ameritrade WWW and I haven't had any horror stories to tell except for when they just cancel my orders without telling me, like in the cases of my selling PUTs. I'm not even sure how that works anymore - I used to sell uncovered calls and puts with no problem, now I guess it depends on who reviews the order?

Regarding 6+ month stocks, of the ones I'm invested in I would suggest BDI, GLM, PAIR, and TSM. I hold stocks about 2 weeks at the most...actually 1-2 days usually. You might also want to consider ALTR and CS if you're in for the long-term. Oil stocks should also recover since that sector has been corrected ~25-30% since late October.
