Ray and thread, of all the articles describing what happened in regard to Enron, this one may be the most important contribution. In it we see who was responsible for allowing the ridiculous practice of Auditors being allowed to double-dip and receive consultant fees at the same time they were auditing. ISO 9000 (an international standard in auditing practices) doesn't condone this sort of third party cronyism. So, why did Democrat Senator Chris Dodd push for it so strongly? Message 17000610
