Ian, what you say about IBM having no clue to the PC destiny is on target in my eyes. The PC work station power has a future that is inconceivable. From buying outfits, hair styles before the cut is made, home interior design, news on demand, aid for sales to reduce inventory, realistic simulation for games, on a $300 computer? Not in the next 3 years. When the power is in our hands, the change in the way people live and shop will begin to change. How could it begin to change before?
