[Power is corrupting and might I add blinding.]

I agree. I was astounded when I read that Gates said he was surprised at what Dr. Andy Grove did NOT know.

If Gates were truly brilliant, he would know that we have much to learn about the way the human mind and body interacts and responds to today's technology.

From what I've read I believe Dr. Grove, Intel's CEO, is aware of our limitations. With humor, he claims he is paranoid since technology changes so quickly.

As you suggested, Bill Gates may be blinded by his own ego. B4 it is too late, perhaps Gates should read Sophocles play about Oedipus, the king. Oedipus, like Gates, had exaggerated self-confidence or hubris.

It was his undoing. Oedipus punched his eyes out so he could not see the trouble that he had caused. I do not believe Bill Gates will physically blind himself, but his pride might cause him to stumble.
